Ricardo Vasquez, MD is graduate of the University of Iowa School of Medicine. Dr. Vasquez has been practicing for nearly 15 years. He performs abdominal aortic aneurysm surgery and stenting, carotid surgery, peripheral artery disease evaluations, and the latest minimally invasive varicose vein procedures.

Dr. Vasquez is now offering a new procedure at Monroe Hospital to treat patients with carotid artery disease. TransCarotid Artery Revascularization (TCAR) is a clinically proven treatment that utilizes temporary flow reversal during direct, transcarotid stent placement for best-in-class neuroprotection in a more efficient and less invasive approach than traditional carotid endarterectomy.
